test 2

Can you please hold the flood of everything I want to shape— Amorphous because I'm lazy, apathetic, and arrogant, And I can't force fingers around this water in a way that can fix it Forever, or for a second— Hold this for me, even if most of it slicks through your knuckles; I need my hands free of both my ambition and my failure To hold your small wrist, To touch the corner of your eye.

"Shut Up Before You Start a Line With 'Truthfully' or 'I Think' "

Murdered words are rotten things
And I’ve written about them before.
Lifeless cliches
Which is a cliche
Are toilet rings that build up
Over a thousand flushes.

Bad poetry is death and toilets.

NR 2011
Testing testing. Will this be normal??

"Hold"

Can you please hold the flood of everything I want to shape—
Amorphous because I'm lazy, apathetic, and arrogant,
And I can't force fingers around this water in a way that can fix it
Forever, or for a second—
Hold this for me, even if most of it slicks through your knuckles;
I need my hands free of both my ambition and my failure
To hold your small wrist,
To touch the corner of your eye.
